BTTB Australia 2011
4th & 5th May 2011
The Australian Technology Park Sydney
New demands, new capabilities
Managing business travel has never been more demanding. Today, travel managers face ongoing cost pressures, changing traveller demands, corporate needs for safety and security and a rapidly evolving technology landscape. And many have to perform their duties with fewer resources.
What changes does the new reality demand and how can business travel professionals future-proof their policies and procedures?
This will be the focus of Australasia’s leading business travel event, BTTB Australia 2011, which returns to the Australian Technology Park in Sydney on May 4th and 5th.
The event, now in its 12th year, brings together experts from around the world and buyers and vendors from the region for two-days of learning, benchmarking and networking. A mix of presentations, workshops and interactive sessions, the event also includes an enlarged exhibition that will showcase up-to-date solutions from the top providers.
The speaking line-up this year includes two international speakers who have graced the “Business Travel News most influential people in Business Travel” list – Prism founder Michael Whitesage, who has received the coveted nomination on no less than seven occasions, and conTgo founder Johnny Thorsen, who was nominated for the first time, but possibly not the last, in 2010. If you’re involved in buying or managing corporate travel, BTTB Australia 2011 is a one-stop barometer of what’s happening in the industry – in airlines, accommodation, technology and travel management. It’s also a refresher course, where you’ll hone your skills and even acquire new ones. And it’s an opportunity to benchmark your programme against some of the best out there.
And if you think your organisation is doing it well, why not nominate for an award. Industry achievement will be recognised at the BTTB Travel Management Awards on May 4th.
The Travel Programme of the Year award will be presented to a buyer organisation that displays innovation and professionalism. Past winners include Pacific Brands which not only reduced costs and improved travel processes, but also raised the profile of travel management within the organisation.
The awards dinner will also acknowledge a number of vendors hailed by their clients for going the extra mile.
If you’re involved in business travel, you can’t afford to miss BTTB Australia 2011.
